First Class Brakes purchases 3rd Brake Lathe Machine.
To meet and exceed customer demands FCB purchases an additional
brake lathe machine, to keep up with the demands of disc, drum and flywheel machining.

First Class Brakes are compliant with AS3617.
Australian Standard AS3617 sets out procedures, specifications to make
sure that products, services & systems are reliable, safe & consistent in the way
they were intended to be performed. They are working published documents
constantly reviewed.

Enklo Web Designs First Class Brakes Website.
FCB needed a web presence, more and more customers are using the internet to do business,
we need to move & keep ahead of the times. Matt Twigge says “we have seen an increase
in enquiries via email and phone calls since the website went live. Thanks to the team at

FCB Purchase New Disc Machine Adapter for 5 & 6 Stud Ford Transit Vans.
The 5 and 6 stud Transit disc rotors don’t slide off the hubs for machining or replacement.
Now we are able to travel ON-SITE to the van or vans and carry out the disc machine
which was prior to this unable to be done on the vehicle. At time of writing FCB are the only
mobile Brake Specialists who can machine the discs whilst still fitted to the Transit Vans.

FCB purchase 2nd Fleet Vehicle.
The Ford Ranger Double Cab Ute is now on the road. Used for day to day operations
within the business

FCB purchase NEW FLYWHEEL adapter.
There are a small range of flywheels which do not take a spigot bearing. The flywheel centre
hole is only 12-15mm in diameter and they would not fit onto the lathe. With the purchase
of the new adapter we can now machine these flywheels as fitted to some models of Kia,
Honda, Hyundai, Proton and Mitsubishi.

FCB take out the WINNER of the NEW Business of the Year Award.
In 2008 First Class Brakes won the "Business Achievers Award" for "New Business of the Year",
something we are very proud of. Not only is this judged on the overall aspects of business
but approx 1/3 of the judging criteria is judged on customer satisfaction and customer service.
